Jelly Cookies Recipe

Jelly Cookies Recipe

Serves 36, 21 cal per serving



 

Ingredients:
• 4 cup All-purpose flour
• 1 cup Butter (2 sticks)
• 2 Eggs
• 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
• 2½ cup Jelly (such as seedless raspberry or cherry)
   
 

How to make Jelly Cookies:
•    Combine flour, butter, eggs and sugar; beat until well mixed. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
•    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
•    Roll out chilled dough on a lightly floured surface, until about 1/4-inch thick.
•    Cut with a round cookie cutter; transfer cookies to an ungreased cookie sheet.
•    Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until very lightly browned. Cool on wire rack.
•    When cool, spread jelly between 2 cookies to make a sandwich.
•    Coat each cookie with powdered sugar.
•    Cookies taste better after a few days, because the jelly absorbs into the cookie and makes them softer.

Chocolate Doughnuts Recipe

Ingredients:
• 2½ cup All-Purpose Flour (Maida)
• 2/3 cup Sugar
• 4 tbsp Milk Powder
• ½ cup Cocoa Powder
• 1½ tbsp Instant Yeast
• 1 Egg (beaten)
• 4 tbsp Butter (melted)
• 4 tbsp Icing Sugar
   
 

How to make Chocolate Doughnuts:
•    Combine all ingredients except icing sugar in a large bowl and knead adding warm water, until soft dough is formed.
•    Place the dough into a buttered bowl and let it rise to double in size.
•    Knead again and roll-out to desired thickness (1 cm thick) and cut through a doughnut cutter.
•    Bake in a preheated oven to 425 degrees F for 10 minutes.
•    Remove and roll over icing sugar.
•    Let cool then serve.

Ingredients:
• 1 ½ cups packed Brown Sugar
• 1 tbsp Water
• 2/3 cup Shortening
• 2 Eggs
• ½ tsp Salt
• 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
• 1/3 cup Baking Cocoa
• ½ cup Walnuts or Pecans (Chopped)
• 2 cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips
• 1 ½ cups All- Purpose Flour
• ¼ tsp Baking Soda
   
 

How to make Chewy Brownie Cookies:
•    Take a large bowl with cream, shortening, sugar, water and vanilla in it. Add beaten eggs as well.
•    Add flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda to creamed mixture and beat until blended.
•    Stir in chocolate chips and nuts if desired.
•    Drop the blended mixture over ungreased baking sheets with a 2 inch rounded tbsp.
•    Bake at 375 F for 7-9 min. Cool it for 2 minutes before removing wire racks.

Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, (room temperature)
• 1 cup Sugar
• 1 Egg, (room temperature)
• 1 cup Mashed Bananas (about 2 ½ large bananas)
• 1 tsp Baking Soda
• 2 cups Flour
• A pinch Salt
• 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp Ground Mace or Nutmeg
• 1/2 tsp Ground Cloves
• 1 cup Pecans (or walnuts/ chocolate chips)
   
 

How to make Banana Cookies:
•    Preheat the oven to 350°F.
•    Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
•    Add the egg and continue to beat until the mixture is light and fluffy.
•    In a bowl, mix the mashed bananas and baking soda. Let it sit for 2 minutes. The baking soda will react with the acid in the bananas, which in turn will give the cookies their lift and rise.
•    Mix the banana mixture into the butter mixture.
•    Mix together the flour, salt, and spices and sift into the butter and banana mixture. Mix until just combined.
•    Fold the pecans or walnuts or chocolate chips into the batter.
•    Drop in dollops onto parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
•    Bake for 11-13 minutes or until nicely golden brown.
•    Let cool on wire racks. Serve.

Heart Shaped Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:
• 2 Eggs
• 1/3 cup Milk
• 1 -1/4 cups Sugar
• 1/2 cup Butter (softened)
• 1/4 cup Shortening
• 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1 tsp Baking Powder
• 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
• 2 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
• 1 tsp Grated Lemon Rind
• Green and Orange Liquid food Colors
   
How to make Heart Shaped Cookies:
•    Beat butter and shortening with an electric mixer on medium speed till soft. Combine sugar with it and mix well.
•    Add eggs and milk and keep beating till blended properly.
•    Take a bowl and combine flour baking powder, baking soda and salt properly.
•    Add this with butter mixture and beat at low speed till well blended.
•    Add lemon rind and juice.
•    Fragment the dough into 4 equal parts and wrap each portion in plastic wrap.
•    Allow to cool for about 2 to 6 hours.
•    Roll a dough part on a lightly floured surface to a 1/4 inch thickness.
•    Cut it with a 3 inch heart-shaped cookie cutter and keep on lightly greased baking sheets.
•    Repeat the method for other dough parts.
•    Now bake them at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 8 to 9 minutes till light brown colour reached on bottoms.
•    Allow them to cool on baking sheets for about 2 minutes.
•    Transfer to wire racks and let them cool for 20 minutes.
•    Put green food color on 1/4 cup Icing and spread it on tops of cookies.
•    Put orange food color on reserved 1/4 cup Icing and put that into a zip-top plastic bag. Pierce 1 corner of the bag to make a small hole and pipe dots on cookies.
•    Heart Shaped Cookies are ready to serve.

Cherry Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1 Cup cherry flavored chips
• 1 1/2 Cups flour
• 1/2 Cup rolled oats
• 1/2 tsp Baking soda
• 1 tsp Vanilla extract
• 1Cup butter
• 1Cup powdered sugar
   
How to make Cherry Cookies:
•    Heat oven to 300 degrees F.
•    Mix vanilla, powdered sugar and butter.
•    Beat the mixture until it turns fluffy.
•    Add baking soda, flour and oats. Mix well.
•    Add flavored chips to it.
•    Drop the mixture with a teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.
•    Fatten them lightly with fingers.
•    Bake it for about 10 minutes.
•    Cool on a wire rack.
•    Cherry Cookies are ready.
